Hi Libby,
Glad to hear you are back on the ground, after all that air time. I hear that the place you are at is a real luxury location, theater, large sand volley ball court, free transportation where ever you want to go. Even offers amenities including an indoor swimming pool, Post Exchange, Burger King, Pizza Hut, a Subway Restaurant and a Green Beans Coffee Shop, but I am sorry to say there isn’t a Starbuck’s, yet.
But one thing it isn’t, it isn’t state side and that is where we wish you and all the rest of our service people were.
I don’t think the Lady Bug would like it there with all the sand and rough roads, although the diesel is very cheap.
What kind of phone system is there? What is the cost to call home and is there a cost to receive calls? Looking for more Posts from you.

Libby,
We are all glad that you made it to Iraq safely. My mom and her FCCLA( family,career,community, leaders of america) group are going to try to adopt your unit. We will try to send care packages over later this month if we can. If there is anything special that you desire just let me know, ie. candy, jerky… The first care package we will send to you directly and then you can distribute as you wish. Also we are all keeping you in our prayers everyday. See you in 7 months.
